In the spring and summer of 2010 the United Way of Henry County, along with community organizations, churches, and individuals, will be planning and constructing five Born Learning Trails throughout Henry County.
The Born Learning Trails are an interactive, playful and visible part of the Born Learning campaign, designed to help parents, caregivers, and communities support early learning.
The trails boost children’s language and literacy skills, encourage families to get active, and elevate awareness of early childhood education.
The Born Learning Trails include 10 fun outdoor games on engaging signs to help parents and caregivers create learning opportunities for a young child.
The trails are sponsored through grants from
- Henry County Community Foundation
- Henry County Heart Health Coalition
- Ohio Children’s Trust Fund
- PNC Bank
