COMMUNITY CARE FUND
Provides grants up to $1,000 for persons who are financially struggling due to a major illness in the family.

CPC WOMEN'S HEALTH RESOURCE

Provides the "Earn While You Learn" parenting program which provides educational material to help them be the best parent they can be. As part of the program they can earn credits that can be used to "purchase" baby items. Also provides free STI testing and literature.

CENTER FOR CHILD AND FAMILY ADVOCACY

Provides sexual abuse, physical abuse and bullying preventive programs; shelter for domestic violence victims; group/individual/family and play therapy.

EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT
Provides educational materials to parents to help them prepare their children to succeed in school and beyond. From August 2023 through August 2024, United Way provided books to 4,103 children.

Provides winter boots for Henry County children living in poverty.

Provides scholarships for volunteer service provide by Henry County youth.

HEALTHY COMMUNITIES - HENRY COUNTY
Childhood wellness program promoting physical fitness, nutrition education, and food access to combat obesity and hunger. Through United Way of Henry County's Wonder Chef program, 320 Henry County kindergarten students have been provided with nutrition education and food sampling opportunities in partnership with BGSU interns from their Dietetic Internship Program.

Provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for Henry County children and adults with disabilities.

DOLLY PARTON'S IMAGINATION LIBRARY
Provides books for children ages birth to five to promote early childhood development. Since United Way started providing books through the Imagination Library program in 2004,150,545 books have been provided for Henry County children. Currently more than 890 children receive a book each month through the generosity of United Way donors.

Provides programming to teach children various safety situations, including, how and when to use 9-1-1, fire safety, using seat belts, and stranger danger.

2nd & 7
Literacy program in which high school student athletes mentor second graders on the importance of reading and developing positive character. During the last school year, 296 second grade students throughout Henry County received book and participated in reading incentive programs.
